I found out about this song through Twitter/X with the f5ve account interacting with accounts such as NUGUpromoter and their tweets landing on my feed many times. When the snippet was the released I was excited with the catchy techno kick drum and repetitive hook.
Listening to the song, it lives up to the hype with their snappy and whimsical delivery on the verse. The transition from the pre-chorus to the chorus is flawless with the synths taking the forefront and the drums muted. The bridge does not feel out of place nor does it lose any momentum; although the second verse feels more like a bridge than the actual bridge itself. Overall, the song is more than the techno beat that takes the lead in the chorus, but a beautiful set of 8-bit inspired synths that chauffeur you through their fast-paced song opens up into a foot-to-the-pedal, energetic, pumping machine. 8.7/10
